Acknowledge Face ID / Touch ID / Fingerprint disclosure by tapping on ‘Activate’. Scan your Face ID / Touch ID / Fingerprint to complete the activation.

Upon download of the PB engage MY app, you are required to do quick one-time setup. This setup will bind your mobile device to your PBe account User ID and PB SecureSign.

You can bind your PBe account to a maximum of three (3) different devices.

 

First-time Setup Process (Device Binding):

  1. Launch the PB engage MY and key in your PBe User ID
  2. Confirm your Personal Login Phrase (PLP) and enter your PBe Password
  3. Register your device by entering your PAC or SecureSign Code
  4. Enroll the PBe Challenge Questions (applicable to new PBe users only)
  5. Activate DuitNow / Quick Balance (optional)
  6. All done. Your device is now bound to your PBe User ID

 

How to remove (unbind) a device?

  1. Login to your account on PB engage MY
  2. Select ‘Settings’
  3. Select ‘Device Management’
  4. Select the device you wish to remove by tapping on the ‘’ icon

 

How to switch your Primary device?

  1. Lauch the PB engage MY and proceed with device binding and authentication on your new device.
  2. Select 'Settings' and then 'PB SecureSign'
  3. You will be prompted with a message to confirm that switching to a new primary device will deregister PB SecureSign from your old device.
  4. Select "Yes" to complete the switch to your new device.

What is new in PB engage MY?

The new PB engage MY provides a refreshing user interface and the following new features to simplify your banking experience:

Who can use PB engage MY?

All new and existing Public Bank individual customers who are registered with PBe can use PB engage MY. Access to PBe Business Banking accounts has been discontinued.

How do I setup PB engage MY?
  1. Launch PB engage MY upon successful download from App Store or Google Play
  2. Enter your PBe User ID
  3. Verify and confirm your Personal Login Phrase (PLP)
  4. Enter your PBe password
  5. Enrol the PBe Challenge Questions (applicable to new PBe users only)
  6. Select your preferred debiting account
  7. Activate Quick Access / Quick Balance
  8. Register your device and confirm your activation by entering PBe Authentication Code (PAC) or SecureSign Code
  9. Register for PB SecureSign
  10. Then, you will be able to access your Account Summary
  11. Activate PB SecureSign through Public Bank’s ATM / CRM or Branch or PBe Customer Support.
    Upon successful PB SecureSign Activation, a 12-hour cooling-off is required before you are able to use PB SecureSign to approve transactions.
What are the operating hours for PB engage MY?

PB engage MY is available 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Is PB engage MY safe?

Yes, PB engage MY is secure. For a start, device binding is mandatory for using PB engage MY service. To perform financial transaction, you are required to login with User ID and password. Personal login Phrase (PLP) will be displayed for your verification prior to login with your password.

Transactions via PB engage MY must be approved by PAC or SecureSign Code and are monitored by the Bank’s Fraud Detection System.

Data transmission via PB engage MY are encrypted with HTTPS with valid trusted server certificate and secured with TLS 1.2 encryption with end-to-end application layer encryption between the mobile device and back-end server to further protect the transaction.

The mobile application is protected with Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP) to protect it from malicious attacks and unwanted changes and tampering.
